Reflect and Refresh - Part 1: Looking Back

Hey, all! I'm so excited to team up with some great teachers to bring to you an End of the Year link up!

This year was wonderful! However, big changes are about to occur! I'm moving from 1st grade to... 5th grade LITERACY! I'm over the moon excited because my Masters is in literacy, and to think that this is what I get to teach all day long, is thrilling for me. I will integrate writing and social studies, too. There is so much to think about this summer, and needless to say, I'll be busy creating!

Looking back, this class was full of thirty six/seven year olds, who came to school everyday so excited to learn. I had a really great year with them. Check out my reflection from the year:

  1. 1st to 5th!? Wowzers, you're braver than I am! I've never heard of Responsive Classroom, might have to look that up. Can't wait to see you in Vegas!

  5. Thanks, everyone! The good news is I have taught 5th grade before, so it won't be too bad! I'm really excited for the new adventure.
